ABOUT US : Bio FOR CEO, Richard Hathway
Augmentics Ltd was founded by Richard Hathway who is a Chartered Engineer (software).
Richard has a Physics degree from the University Of London and has spent
many years in the software development field, in both technical & management roles.
He has worked for various startups, the most recent being Sendo (now Motorola)
which developed & manufactured GSM mobile phones in the UK.
He was part of the original 20 or so person team at Sendo, which grew to 450+ staff within three years. His final role at Sendo was Senior Technologist - Smartphones.
Richard has very extensive experience in software development. He also has experience in electronic design, technical management, IPR issues including licensing and patents, contract negotiation, staff recruitment, marketing etc. He also holds two mobile phone technology patents.
